Forklift Operator — Canada
Job Description
MapleRoute Logistics Inc. is seeking a safety-focused and experienced Forklift Operator to handle material movement, loading, unloading, and warehouse organization. The successful candidate will operate forklifts safely while ensuring products are handled accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
Load and unload trucks safely.
Move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.
Store products in designated locations.
Pick and stage orders for shipment.
Inspect forklifts before each shift.
Report equipment problems and workplace hazards.
Assist with inventory and warehouse activities.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Follow company safety procedures and applicable Canadian workplace regulations.
Requirements
Previous forklift operating experience.
Valid forklift certification/training appropriate to the workplace.
Good understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
Ability to lift and move materials when required.
Good attention to detail.
Reliable and punctual.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous warehouse experience is an asset.
